Hartshorn writes to F. Edgar and the Echo, under dates March 10 and 24, from Pologon Camp. He meets Broome boys in every unit. and battalion. He says M. Aarons had only arrived at the front two days before the charge in which he disappeared. Harthorn&#8217;s company of N.C.O\u2019s were picked for staff drill instructors and were kept in Egypt. Getting a chance, he joined the Imperial Camel Corps (composed entirely of Australians) making a fresh start \u2014 the third in 12 months \u2014 but soon was promoted corporal.
